Graham, I usually ignored th GoDaddy girls as that sort of thing does a lot to offend people I dislike. So it’s kind of like “the tits of my enemy are my bosom buddies…” or something like that. In any case, I have another host to try in February. If they don’t work out I’ll give Hostgator a try in March. Thanks very much for the suggestion, and for stopping by to leave a comment.

Hi, Zoe. I stayed with GoDaddy, despite their SOPA position just because I’ve been through a number of hosting services and GoDaddy is the only one that actually worked and didn’t drive me up the wall. Besides, if I was going to pick a host on the basis of their politics, I’d never have switched to one that has “GoDaddy Girls” as the main plank of their advertising in the first place.

While I was considering leaving GoDaddy, several people (all women, as it happens) recommended Hostgator.com. Good luck with the move.
