You can blame this bit of sentimental twaddle on Jodi Lee, who in turn was inspired by another writer to talk about what love is, and if there is love at first sight. Jodi’s post on the topic is here, if you’re curious.
I’m not a love at first sight kind of person. I believe in the idea, sure. But due to my bisexuality, I’m more often a victim of emotional attraction at first sight. Physical attraction occurs only after there’s the potential for sex in a relationship.
Part of my problem is, I often get attracted to people who I shouldn’t be attempting a relationship with. Even a casual friendship is dangerous, because there’s more chances for attraction to become love, and then I stop thinking. You might not see a problem, but imagine falling in love with someone of the same sex who’s straight. Then it becomes a bit more clear.
